Harvest of the Month: Carrots
Carrots featured for Harvest of the Month activities
Harvest of the Month is Tuesday October 15. All school cafeterias will have tasting tables featuring local fresh carrots grown by Welcome Table Farm, prepared by Nutrition Services and served by volunteers.
The tasting tables will also display interesting facts about carrots. Many students in the district have visited Welcome Table Farm and have grown carrots at their school.
