PINK NIGHT for Breast Cancer Awareness

Walla Walla High School volleyball team is sponsoring PINK NIGHT Tuesday, October 22 as they take on the Richland Bombers and raise money for breast cancer awareness. Freshmen, sophomore and junior varsity teams all play at 5:30 p.m. and the Blue Devil varsity begin at 7 p.m.

PINK items, such as beads, pins, pompoms and more will be sold at the game. Volleyball players are currently selling PINK shirts to support Breast Cancer awareness. Orders are being taken until Wednesday, October 9.

“Find your favorite player and help support the cause by purchasing a shirt from them,” said Parent Volunteer Karen Carman. T-shirts may also be purchased from the Wa-Hi ASB office and a limited number of shirts will be available for purchase at the game. All proceeds from the event go to St Mary Medical Center Breast Cancer Special Needs Fund.

“And don’t forget to WEAR PINK,” said Carman. “Let’s dig PINK for a cure together!”
