Edison principal camps out on school grounds
Edison Principal Josh Wolcott is supported by several students as he camped out Thursday night as payment to students for exceeding the school’s goal of $5000 raised for the annual Fun Run. Wolcott pitched a tent and spent the night on the school grounds to make good on the challenge.
The Whitman College cross country team helped plan the Fun Run event and were in attendance to encourage students as they ran. The students raised more than $5200. Fourth grader, Samantha Miller, was the top pledge collector. She raised more than $1000 and will receive a pair of Brooks running shoes for her efforts. Wolcott also collected food during his camping adventure for the Realtors Care n' Share Food Drive.
