Zahl presents scholarship funds to Wa-Hi students

Walla Walla Public High Schools Scholarship Fund founder Jerry Zahl presented scholarship funds to Walla Walla High School seniors Ana Andrade and Phong Pham. Former Wa-Hi student Christina Swanson also received a scholarship. The students each received $377 to apply toward higher education.

“Because of the goodness of Wa-Hi grads and the Walla Walla community, our fund amount has exceeded $50,000 in just two years from start-up,” Zahl said. “It is a pleasure to see the assistance being provided to such earnest students for such a worthy purpose. We hope this fund continues to grow so we can offer more funds in the future.”
