State Recognition Night

June 18, school board members started a new tradition of honoring students/teams and coaches/advisors who finished in the top three at state. Josh Rose was honored for his 3rd place finish in Debate. Girls track Ella Nelson (2nd 1600m run and 3rd place 3200m run ) and Noelani Helm (3rd high jump) and boys track Jared McAlvey (1st 300m hurdles) and Patrick Utschinski (1st discus and 2nd shot put). Track head coach Eric Hisaw and his assistants were also honored for excellence.
