District awaits guidance regarding closure extension

Update from Superintendent Dr. Wade Smith: Yesterday evening (April 2), Governor Inslee announced an extension to the original Stay-Home/Stay-Healthy order, extending COVID-related restrictions through May 4. Walla Walla Public Schools has been informed further guidance and clarification related to schools is expected to come early next week. The district will communicate any updates as soon as they are released by the Governor or OSPI.
