Unity Day = No to Bullying!

Goal Three of the district’s Strategic Plan focuses on providing social and emotional support for students. One strategy the district sponsors to support this initiative is Unity Day. The district conducted Unity Day October 23 at district schools to promote anti-bullying programs. Staff and students donned orange clothing to send a message of hope and support that no child should ever experience bullying. Students at schools across the district made posters promoting the event. Students participated in lessons with information about how to curb bullying and report it if it occurs. Walla Walla Public Schools believes learning happens best in a safe and supportive environment.
