Patron Tour success
Patron Tour guests get up-close look at district schools
Superintendent Mick Miller conducted his first Patron Tour of the year on Wednesday. Community members toured Berney, Walla Walla High School and Lincoln High School.
“This is a fantastic school district,” said guest Rhonda McNett. “The teachers and staff are passionate and so empathetic to the students as they develop our country’s next generation of leaders. But, the infrastructure needs to be there to help them and it’s been delayed way too long.”
Retired educator and longtime community leader Dick Cook also joined the tour.
“I’ve have always been a Lincoln fan and continue to be amazed by Lincoln’s significant improvements in student outcomes,” Cook said. “The warm, friendly environment at Berney, starting at the front office and visible in the staff, students, classroom environment, also made a big impression on me.”
