Collection of Evidence success

High school students ace Collection of Evidence standards
Walla Walla School District has received scores for students who submitted Collections of Evidence in Reading, Writing, Math and Biology. This graduation alternative allows students to submit collections of their work to demonstrate they have met standard as an alternative to passing tests. WWPS students and teachers have historically had great success with this graduation alternative, and this year is no exception. Ninety-one percent of the collections submitted met standard, with 100% of the Reading and Writing passing.

"This is a testament to the hard work and commitment of our teachers and students,” said District Assessment Coordinator Maria Garcia. “Our high schools work very hard to support students to graduation, whatever it takes."
