Dell Scholarship recipient

Walla Walla High School senior Andrea Lamadrid Torres was named a Dell Scholar. She will receive $20,000, a laptop, textbook credit, and other supports to attend college. Torres is a senior AVID student who is taking three Advanced Placement classes. She was recognized as one of 300 Dell Scholars nationwide. Wa-Hi teacher Vivian Glaeser submitted the recommendation. Andrea plans to Gonzaga University next fall.
