“Volunteering in the school garden is easy and fun!”

Walla Walla Valley Farm to School is providing training and supplies to help parents bring their child’s grade to the school garden.

Learn simple, effective techniques for helping kids (and plants!) to grow.

Topics include: Garden lesson descriptions, Planting seeds, Planting starts, Tasting in the garden, Garden safety, Group management, Inquiry Based Learning, Scheduling and more!

We hope you can attend a training session(s) correlating to the grade you would like to work with:

Grade	Training Date and times -
Kinder and 1^st grade lessons	March 8^th 9:00-10:30a.m. or 6:00-7:30 p.m.
2^nd and 3^rd grade lessons	March 9^th 9:00-10:30a.m. or 6:30-8:00 p.m.
4^th and 5^th grade lessons	March 10^th 9:00-10:30a.m. or 6:00-7:30 p.m.

This training is free! All are welcome.
