Garden volunteers needed

“Volunteering in the school garden is easy and fun!”

Walla Walla Valley Farm to School is providing training and supplies to help parents bring their child’s grade to the school garden.

Learn simple, effective techniques for helping kids (and plants!) to grow. 

Topics include: Garden lesson descriptions, Planting seeds, Planting starts, Tasting in the garden, Garden safety, Group management, Inquiry Based Learning, Scheduling and more!

Kinder and 1st grade lessons

March 8th 9:00-10:30a.m. or 6:00-7:30 p.m.

2nd and 3rd grade lessons

March 9th 9:00-10:30a.m. or 6:30-8:00 p.m.

4th and 5th grade lessons

March 10th 9:00-10:30a.m. or 6:00-7:30 p.m.
