Walla Walla SWAT team to train at Green Park Elementary

City of Walla Walla Police SWAT team members are planning a training activity at Green Park Elementary Tuesday, July 18 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon. The exercises will be conducted inside the school and will not impact the surrounding neighborhood or school grounds. This training exercise will help SWAT team members prepare to respond to a school emergency. Police officers will post “Training in Session” signs around Green Park Elementary during the exercise to notify the public of the training activity.
