Longtime board member to retire in November
After serving nearly 30 years on the Walla Walla Public Schools Board of Directors, Anne Golden announced last night she will not seek re-election. Her term ends in November. She is a former member of the Foundation Board of Governors for Walla Walla Community College and is a past National Chair of the American Heart Association. Golden was past president of the Washington State School Directors Association and in 2004, was elected Chair National School Boards Association10-state Pacific Region.
