Wa-Hi students in Jessica Johnson’s Agriculture Mechanics class are working on a residential electrical unit. Students are building bench stands to practice wiring electrical boxes. Eventually they will wire a storage shed also being built on campus.
Jessica’s class is one of several Career and Technical Education classes offered at Wa-Hi. Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs support local middle and high school programs that provide 21st-century, academic and technical skills for all students. Teachers participate in the professional development of curricula and instruction, standards and assessment and academic integration.
