Julie Woods spends her days teaching orchestra for students in grades 5-12 in the Walla Walla School District. She seeks to foster independence in her young musicians and to expose them to many different musical experiences.
Woods graduated from Central Washington University with a Bachelor of Music in music education and from Eastern Washington University with a Master of Education. She performs locally with the Walla Walla and Mid-Columbia Symphonies.
Woods also volunteers with Embracing Orphans, a Walla Walla-based non-profit that works with the orphaned, abused, and neglected children of Jamaica. Woods joins other talented musicians for the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival. Learn more about the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival online at: http://www.wwcmf.org
