Superintendent Dr. Wade Smith recently took Bond Oversight Committee members on a tour of the new Walla Walla High School Science Building. Comprised of 11 community members, this committee’s core purpose is to carefully monitor the delivery of the proposed bond program to ensure accountability, fiscal transparency, and community trust. The Superintendent serves as the direct liaison to the group.
Progress continues on the new Wa-Hi Science Building. Local contractor Jackson Construction Group is framing the building in preparation for Walla Walla’s own Elsom Roofing who will be installing the roof system soon. Visit the district’s website and click on Bond Updates to see more information, including a project camera showcasing this exciting project set to open next school year.
