Transportation Department recognized for outstanding State Patrol inspections

Congratulations to the Transportation Department for being recognized by the Superintendent of Public Instruction and Chief of the Washington State Patrol for exceptional results on a recent annual inspection of school buses. The letter from Superintendent of Public Instruction Chris Reykdal and Chief John Batiste notes for the past two the results have been outstanding.

“These results demonstrate your understanding that student safety is paramount, and the care you take in safely transporting students to and from school and extracurricular activities is evident. Keep up the fantastic work,” notes the letter sent to Superintendent Dr. Wade Smith.
