Enrollment period open for new Southeast Area Technical Skills Center
After a year of construction and six years of planning, the enrollment period for fall classes is now open for the new Southeast Area Technical Skills Center (SEA-TECH) located on the campus of Walla Walla Community College.
SEA-TECH Programs available: Digital Media Technology, Instructor - Dennis DeBroeck; Advanced Manufacturing & Welding, Instructor - James Polson; Sustainable Energy Technology, Instructor - TBD; Health Science Careers, Instructor - Sandy Thomas.
Enrollment priority is given to Walla Walla Public Schools students and those from the five partner districts – College Place, Dayton, Prescott, Touchet and Waitsburg. The priority deadline for applications is May 15. Home-schooled and private school students will be accepted on a space available basis. Applications are available online at www.myseatech.org or from the student’s high school counselor.
Students will spend three hours per day at SEA-TECH during a morning or afternoon session as an extension of their local high school attendance. Full program descriptions, enrollment forms and Questions and Answers can be found on the SEA-TECH website at www.myseatech.org
