Elementary Soccer Kicks Off

There were plenty of smiles after school today at district elementary schools as the new soccer program kicked off with games at all campuses. Hundreds of students are participating in this new afterschool activity thanks in large part to a generous donation from Chevrolet of Walla Walla.

This co-ed program for 4th and 5th grade students continues through May 18 under the umbrella of the 21st Century Afterschool Program. There is no cost to participate and each school has multiple teams.

This new program aligns with the district’s Strategic Plan goal of providing an engaging school experience for all students.
