Carnegie Center Ribbon Cutting & Tours

Ribbon cutting ceremony and tours planned for new downtown Carnegie Education Center

Community members are invited to celebrate with Walla Walla Public Schools during the official ribbon cutting ceremony of the Carnegie Education Center Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 10 a.m. in beautiful downtown Walla Walla at 109 S Palouse St. The Carnegie Education Center is the home of the Opportunity Program, Walla Walla Online and Homelink. The transition to the Carnegie Education Center from the previous Eastgate location was made possible thanks to a low-cost lease from the City of Walla Walla.

“We appreciate the City of Walla Walla for this amazing partnership in support of children and families,” said Superintendent Dr. Wade Smith. “We value our relationship with the city on this venture and all the other partnerships we maintain as we work collectively to make our city a great place to raise families.”

Tours of the historic facility will be available immediately following the ribbon cutting ceremony.
