NFL star returns to Wa-Hi!

Local middle school football athletes had an experience of a lifetime Tuesday evening playing ball with Wa-Hi graduate and NFL legend Drew Bledsoe. Bledsoe was shooting a scene for a new documentary being produced about his life. The scene featured Drew throwing the football to middle school students dressed in Blue Devil gear.

Following the filming of the scene by plan A films out of Tennessee, Drew gave an inspirational speech to the students about the importance of seeking excellence in all aspects of their lives. He also made plenty of time for photos with the students and to sign autographs. There is no timeline on the release date for the documentary. The district will send out the link on its channels once it goes public.
