Walla Walla High School softball team takes state title

Congratulations to the Walla Walla High School softball team for winning the 4A state softball tournament by defeating Marysville-Pilchuck 1-0 in the championship game.

The tournament took place on May 26-28 in Spokane. The Blue Devils did not give up a single run in the state tournament. This is the first softball state title in Wa-Hi history and the Blue Devils are the first team in the Big 9 to win a softball state title.
