Edison students reading success leads to theme park tickets
This week, 96 Edison students received a free ticket to Silverwood Theme Park because of their participation in the Reading is the Ticket program. Students received the ticket for reading 600 minutes outside of their school day in a six week period during the spring. Students will be able to use their tickets for free admission to the theme park during their summer vacation.

We are thankful that we are able to participate with Silverwood in this program, said Principal Josh Wolcott. Reading outside of school is an important component of student achievement and the tickets provide an extra motivation to do some reading.
