Wa-Hi music student takes state for second time

Congratulations to Walla Walla High School senior Jeremy Ueckert for recently winning the state title in the Timpani Division. Ueckert competed against 18 other students enroute to the title. This is his second championship in this division. Ueckert is the son of Wa-Hi Band Director Andrew Ueckert.

Several other Wa-Hi music students qualified for the WMEA-WIAA(Washington Music Educators Association & Washington Interscholastic Athletics Association) sponsored state contest in Ellensburg.
