Green Park teacher selected for technology grant

Walla Walla Public Schools has been selected to participate in the Enhanced Peer Coaching Program competitive grant, funded by the E2T2 (Enhancing Education Through Technology) federal technology initiative. Martin Telstad, Green Park Elementary School 2nd grade teacher, and Principal, Mike Lambert applied for and received this peer coaching grant for technology integration.

"Martin will be one of 187 teachers in the state to receive comprehensive training this summer at ESD 123," Technology Director Janis Barton said. "The grant funds 10 days of professional development, travel, substitute teacher costs and equipment and software costs for technology integration coaching during the 2007-2008 school year. Congratulations!"
