District to offer Dual Language Program at Edison next year

Edison Elementary will begin a dual language program in Spanish and English beginning in Fall 2009. The program will be offered to kindergarten and first grade students next school year.

One additional grade level will be added each year to incorporate a K-5 dual language program similar to the program currently offered at Sharpstein Elementary.

More details about this program will be available in the coming weeks and months.
