WEDNESDAY, MAY 20 - Another luring attempt today at Sharpstein

WEDNESDAY, MAY 20 - Sharpstein Principal Laure Quaresma reported another luring attempt today.

Here's what we know:

- An adult male in a white car approached students on playground near the road during noon recess

- He said he was told by their dads to pick them up from school

- The students asked what the password was and he said the wrong one

- The students said that was wrong and the man drove off

- The students reported this to the school office

- Laure Quaresma filed a police report and is speaking to officers

Walla Walla Police Detective Matt Wood is going to use the district's telephone message system to release a statement to parents tonight about these incidents.

This man in a white car seems set on getting young children into his car. This is the fourth report of similar actions. Please share this information with staff, community members, parents and students. Report any new information to the WW Police Department.
