Hobson Street renovation project underway
The contract for the Hobson Street Project was awarded to Premier Excavation, Inc. of Richland, Washington on April 22. Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 26 starting with grinding the entire existing roadway in place.

The contractor plans to begin replacing the sanitary sewer main and manholes starting just east of the recently constructed cul de sac and working eastward toward Wilbur Avenue. The contractor will reconnect the existing services as they build the sewer main and then come back later to replace
the sewer services to the property line. We will let you know the condition and material of your sewer pipe as they uncover them.

Work hours will be from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The road will be closed to all access during these times, but neighborhood residents should be able to access their homes nightly. While the trench excavation is adjacent to your home, you may not be able to get your vehicle in or out and you might want to consider parking on Noland Street or in the section of Hobson Street not being excavated.
