Humphreys named Softball Coach of the Year
The Tri-City Herald named their All-Area softball teams this week.
Walla Walla High School All-Area awards:
1st Team - Alexis Bobadilla (Sr), Hope Klicker (So)
2nd Team - Jill McDaniels (Jr)
Coach of the Year - Jerry Humphreys
Wa-Hi Girls Softball team finishes third in state
The Wa-Hi Girls Softball Team finished 3rd in the WIAA 4A State last weekend going 5-1 in the tournament. This was the highest ever finish for a Wa-Hi softball team.
The team's 29-3 season record was the best in the State. The team finished as 3rd in 4A State, 1st in Big 9 / GSL Region, 1st in Big 9 District and 1st in Big 9 Cascade Division. This was a tremendous accomplishment by the team and the school/community should be proud of these athletes.
