New security cameras to support safe and civil schools program
Security cameras will be installed this fall at Pioneer and Garrison Middle Schools to help support the district's safe and civil schools program. Additional cameras will also be installed at Lincoln Alternative High School.
The cameras will be strategically placed throughout the schools and used to promote safety and support emergency plans.
Pioneer Principal Dana Jones says the cameras are a welcome addition.
"We've been talking about this for a long time," Jones said. "They will help."
