Walla Walla High School principal takes Clarkston superintendent position

Walla Walla High School Principal Darcy Weisner has accepted the superintendent position for the Clarkston School District.

Clarkston School District has 2,689 students and is located in Clarkston , WA in Asotin County. Weisner served as principal of Walla Walla High School for four years. His final day with Walla Walla Public Schools is Wednesday, June 30.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed my four years in Walla Walla," Weisner said. "I've appreciated the support I have received from the staff, students, parents and community and will always have a place in my heart for Walla Walla High School."

Superintendent Dr. Richard Carter says Weisner will provide excellent leadership to the Clarkston School District.

"We are very happy for Darcy and his family and wish him well with this new opportunity," Carter said. "Darcy Weisner has been a tremendous asset for our school district and will continue to excel in his new position."

The district will now begin developing plans for hiring a new principal for Walla Walla High School under the direction of new Superintendent Mick Miller.
