Rock Camp free concert Friday evening at Farmers Market
More than 80 students with a passion for music from schools throughout the Walla Walla valley are participating in Rock Camp this week at Lincoln Alternative High School.

Students received instruction in guitar, vocals, keyboards, drums, horns and harmonica. Several students also enhanced their artistic skills by creating personalized t-shirts.

Adult instructors taught students various skills and led them through practice sessions to improve their talents. Students said they had a blast and were excited to showcase their talents.

Rock Camp concludes Friday, August 6 with a free concert at the downtown Farmer's Market plaza beginning at 6 p.m. The concert will feature bands, duets and solo performances.
